The national seminar on "Cultural Advancement, Strengthening Regional Innovation and Creativity" was initiated by Denpasar City Research and Development Strategy and was held on 25th February 2020 at Dharma Negara Alaya Building in Denpasar City, as part of the 232nd Denpasar City Anniversary. This seminar was opened by the Mayor of Denpasar City, Ida Bagus Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra and attended by around 500 participants from various institutions. The keynote speakers were Dr. Ir. Subandi Sardjoko, M.Sc., Deputy for Human Development, Society and Culture, Ministry of National Development Program; Dr. Restu Gunawan, M.Hum., the Director of Arts, Ministry of Education and Culture RI. The panelists on this seminar were H.E. Dr. Hilton Fischer, the Ambassador of South Africa to Indonesia; H.E. Pham Vinh Quang, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam to Indonesia; H.E. Owen Jenkins, the British Ambassador to Indonesia, and Ms. Anthea Griffin, the Consul General Australia in Bali.
