The Second G20 Digital Economy Working Group Meeting (DEWG 2) was held at 5-star Hotel Tentrem Yogyakarta lasting for 3 days. Officially opened by the Minister of Communications and Informatics the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkominfo) H.E. Johnny G. Plate, the meeting was chaired by Secretary General of Kemenkominfo Ms. Mira Tayyiba and Alternate Chair of DEWG Mr. Dedy Permadi. The meeting was attended by delegates from G20 member countries who were present in person such as the United States, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and the European Union, while other G20 member countries such as Canada, China, Mexico, South Africa, Russia joined the meeting virtually. Invited guests representing Singapore, Cambodia, International Telecommunications Union (ITU), and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) also attended the conference in person. All delegations were invited to attend the gala dinner at Java's largest Hindu temple complex, the Prambanan Temple. A legendary dance of Yogyakarta called Roro Jonggrang Ballet was performed during the gala dinner.
