The International Search and Rescue Advisory Group Asia-Pacific Regional Earthquake Response Exercise (INSARAG AP ERE) was held at 5-star hotel Grand Hyatt Bali Nusa Dua and was attended by more than 200 delegates from 20 countries and 5 international organizations. The purpose of this event was to strengthen the capacity of each country in dealing with earthquakes and to improve the interoperability of international assistance during emergency disaster response. This event was also a form of preparation for the G20 Summit that was held in November 2022. The event consisted of two sessions, training, and panel discussion. The panel discussion featured speakers from the United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC), ASEAN Emergency Response and Assessment Team, International USAR Team, Emergency Medical Team (EMT), and other agencies. On the last day, all participants took part in a full day field trip to Penglipuran Traditional village in Bali, Kintamani volcano, Uluwatu Cliff Temple, and witnessed a famous Kecak Dance performance.
