The Southeast Asia Policy Dialogue on Early Childhood Care and Education Forum (SEAPD-ECCE) was initiated by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology RI and took place at the St. Regis Hotel in Kuningan, Jakarta. The forum discussed the draft declaration of the Southeast Asian Education Ministers related to the transformation of Early Childhood Education in the ASEAN region. The event was held as part of the 2023 ASEAN Chairmanship in Indonesia and was supported by the ASEAN Secretariat, The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Centre for Early Childhood Care Education and Parenting (SEAMEO CECCEP), Tanoto Foundation, and ARNEC. The SEAPD on ECCE Forum was attended by 300 delegates including Education Ministers from all ASEAN member countries and ambassadors from Southeast Asian countries to Indonesia. The Forum was inaugurated by the Minister for Education RI H.E. Nadiem Anwar Makarim.
