The Foundation for Innovative New Diagnostics (FIND), a global non-profit organization established in 2023, is collaborating with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia to organize a meeting at Mulia Resort Bali attended by delegations from six countries including America, Germany, Swiss, Africa, India, and Nigeria. The meeting is expected to achieve tangible outcomes within the framework of the G20 Indonesia. The discussions centered around endeavors to expedite the development, evaluation, and distribution of high-quality and cost-effective diagnostic testing tools for potential pandemic and endemic diseases in developing countries, including TB, malaria, hepatitis C, and neglected tropical diseases. This collaboration supports the establishment of a global manufacturing center and the improvement of research regulations, while enhancing the capacity for local research and manufacturing, public-private partnerships, and the manufacturing ecosystem. Health Minister HE Mr. Budi G. Sadikin expresses support for FIND's priority programs, particularly in the development of diagnostic tools for tropical diseases, and discusses potential cooperation in the transformation of Indonesia's healthcare system, including efforts to establish diagnostic tool manufacturing facilities.
