This conference was officially opened by the Coordinating Minister of Welfare, H.E. Agung Laksono at Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel, Kuta, Bali. Attended by 837 delegates from 35 countries, there were 103 papers presented during the conference. The Consal general conference programme included exhibition, cultural site visit and gala dinner.
