The symposium and workshop on Cyber Security were initiated by the Ministry of Communication and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia in cooperation with ID-SIRTII and Kyoto University. Held at Padma Resort Legian and officially opened by the Deputy Minister for Application and Informatics, Ir. Bambang Heru Tjahjono M.Sc, the event was attended by 200 participants from Indonesia and Japan. The main topics discussed during the two-day programme included business data center and its security, chaos application, and hands-on training on penetration server. Key speakers included Ken Higuchi from INFOSEC, Djarot Subiantoro, Prof. Ken Umeno, and Iwan Sumantri.
