The 12th Asia Pacific High Level Meeting on Banking Supervision was organized by the Financial Stability Institute (FSI), Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS), and the Executives' Meeting of East Asia-Pacific Central Banks Working Group on Banking Supervision (EMEAP WGBS). Hosted by Bank Indonesia (BI) at Conrad Hotel, the meeting brought together representatives from various Asian central banks, supervisory authorities, financial institutions, and senior officials from around the world. Discussions focused on micro and macro prudential supervision in the context of current macroeconomic, financial, and regulatory environments, including the effectiveness of prudential measures in Asia. The event was co-chaired by Nestor A Espenilla Jr, Chairman of the EMEAP WGBS and Deputy Governor of Bangko Sentral Pilipinas, and Fernando Restoy.
